Do Not get caught up in illusion that you have to train exactly like your sport in the weight room. You must train outside of your groove in order to improve. The Simpler and more General the weight program the better results you will yield from sports specific movements and there WILL BE a significant reduction in injuries especially when you are inevitably put in awkward positions angles during competition. -Tom
